On Sunday 23 February, the Puivert MJC held its Annual General Meeting in the town hall, attended by around twenty people.
A meeting like this is an opportunity to look back and see that 2024 has been an exceptionally rich year: with activities, events, workshops, films, outings, etc. To illustrate this wonderful dynamic, a retrospective film created by Kévin Major was shown, testifying to all the creativity and energy of our association.
In financial terms, the year ended with a balanced budget, despite an increase in income and expenditure.
A AGM is also a time to renew your membership and support us:
➡ €15 per adult, €12 per child
➡ Sign up at the MJC premises (next to the post office) on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays from 9am to 12pm and 2pm to 5pm, or via a form available at the post office.
Finally, this AGM also marks the renewal of the Board of Directors. We need motivated volunteers to keep the MJC going! You can join us at any time to make your contribution and become part of a lively, friendly and committed team.
If you’d like to get involved, join us at the next Board meeting, on Monday 10 March at 5pm, for the election of the officers.
We’re off again for another year of rich, intense and festive activity, with the same objective: to create links, liven up and energise our village. See you soon at the MJC!
