On 19 January, the cross-country ski outing planned for the Col du Chioula had to be moved to the Plateau de Beille due to a lack of snow. But that in no way detracted from the magic of the day!
Thanks to the support of the département, 15 children and teenagers (aged 8 to 15) were able to try their hand at cross-country skiing, with equipment provided and the outing entirely free of charge. Accompanied by a youth worker from the MJC and a few parents and grandparents, they glided through a magnificent landscape, between snow and summits.
Many thanks to the department for its funding, to the activity leader who supervised the group and to the parents and grandparents who made this outing possible by carpooling.
A wonderful day of sport, nature and conviviality, under a beautiful winter sky!
