Screening of the film “Traces de Vie” in Puivert on 21 May

The film Traces de Vie in Puivert is finished. This project was made possible thanks to the Mjc of Puivert, which led the project, the financial support of the DDCSPP and the production by Traces de Vie and KMM Productions.

The Traces de Vie service offers people who wish to pass on part of their life story to those around them, in video format. The creator of this project, Diane Sergent, accompanies this oral transmission process and collaborates with KMM Productions for the production of the video.
This project was adapted in a community version for the first time, in Puivert.

After 8 months of work, meetings with the village elders, transmitting their memories of life in the village of Puivert, a documentary of about forty minutes was made. The participants (from 70 to 100 years old) talked about the changes they perceived in their life in Puivert, their childhood marked for some by the Second World War, the characteristics of the village of Puivert (its castle, its lake, its festivals,…).

We are very happy with the outcome of this beautiful human, community and creative adventure.

We are going to propose two screenings of this documentary at the town hall of Puivert on 21 May 2022. The first screening will take place at 10:30 am and the second at 2:30 pm.

In between the two screenings, the Neighbours’ Party takes place in the village, a nice event where it is agreed to share a packed lunch by everyone.

We invite you to come and participate in this event.
