A beautiful and much appreciated music Party

It was under a blazing sun that the music Party began on Saturday 18th June at 6pm.

A dozen volunteers from the MJC of Puivert were busy from 10 am on Saturday 18 June and until late at night on Sunday (setting up and dismantling the marquee, setting up and dismantling tables and benches, refreshments and benches, refreshments, food, pancakes, decoration etc.)

At 6pm, the Halles de Puivert welcomed various local musical groups on the open stage. This was an opportunity for the inhabitants of Puivert, the Haute Vallée and the surrounding area, to sing, dance and discover new and established groups and artists for free.
Thus, the singers and musicians of Philecat, Barefoot Blues, Au Clair de Rue, Trad al Pais, Eric Floch, Johannes Winckler… followed one another in front of a very enthusiastic audience.

At around 9pm, the many people present had the pleasure of celebrating music with a concert by the group Les Yog’s.
There were scenes of joyful and overexcited group dancing until late in the evening.
Finally, DJ Mapsilva came to close this music festival by mixing under the Halles.

In order to satisfy all these people, a refreshment bar was set up by the volunteers of the MJC, offering chips, sweet pancakes and many drinks. As well as the Food Truck of the Family Truck with Yodeline which proposed burgers, Wraps,  and the Ch’tite Vadrouille offering savoury crepes.

The MJC of Puivert proposed an event going back to the basics of the Fête de la musique: a festive, popular and spontaneous event, aimed at all audiences and which aimed to highlight and promote local amateur practices!

Thanks to all the volunteers who made this event possible and to the large number of people who came and participated in the great success of this 2022 music festival.

We are looking forward to receiving your photos of the evening: mjcpuivert@gmail.com
