The MJC invites you to enjoy a sensory and joyful experience with your child through two free aerial circus workshops.
An invitation to shared movement. These suspended Sundays offer children and their parents a different way to connect: on the ground and in the air, through improvisation and instant composition, in nonverbal communication made up of listening, looking, gestures, and presence. Here, everyone inspires each other. Bodies dialogue, play, and invent.
Several aerial circus apparatus are available at different heights above dance mats, so that young and old alike can explore movement in complete safety. Children and adults are invited to move together, experiment, create, and interact in new ways.
These workshops are offered by Marie Mercadal, choreographer, trapeze artist, and professional dancer. A graduate in art therapy from the University of Medicine in Poitiers, she has been working in circus and dance for over 20 years with a variety of audiences.
She invites you to discover a unique and sensitive approach to parent-child interaction through the body, play, and connection.
These workshops are free and only require membership of the MJC: membership is available on our website.
They take place at Campferrier in Puivert.
Places are limited.
