“What book would you take to a desert island? Like Robinson, a slightly awkward lecturer shares his passion for one of Shakespeare’s last works – The Tempest – under the watchful eye of his stage manager. His playmates are objects gleaned here and there, relics of our lost world. He brings The Tempest back to life, the Tempest of his memories, of his childhood, but also of his daily life, or rather his solitude. An apocalyptic solo, funny, poetic, even magical!
