When the sublime enters the heart of the village of Puivert: “Les Halles Aériennes”…
It’s not every day that the Halles de Puivert is invested in the service of instant creation… At Les Halles Aériennes, dance flirts with prowess and touches sensitive emotions beneath the Halles de Puivert. At Les Halles Aériennes, we fly, we dance, we explore, we allow ourselves to be free and to fully savour the present moment…
The group was made up of 17 enthusiasts from all generations: families, teenagers, siblings and dancers from all walks of life.
This lovely group played the game of commitment and each brought a magnificent individual participation to all the collective proposals.
Accompanied by France Affidi Musiconaute, a fine pianist from the village, and thanks to the choreographic ideas and insights of Marie Mercadal (trapeze and dance) and Anaïs Raphel (rope and fabric, guest artist), the bodies dancing on the ground and in the air brought the Halles du Puivert to life for the village’s multi-generational audience, performing a number of compositions throughout the project.
It was a real week of joy to watch and experience!
Thanks to the DRAC and the MSA for their support.
